How to make your own clothes from scraps
Catherines Clothing, which is based in a textile mill in New Zealand, recently posted a video on its YouTube channel explaining how to make clothes from scrap.
The video, titled “How to make clothing from scrap,” shows how to turn scraps into clothes and then sells them on a marketplace that is not affiliated with the company.
The clothes are sold at a discount price and are typically worn by people in need.
The company’s founder, Catherine Mather, told Axios the clothes were donated to the company by its customers.
“They’re just a great way to help us feed the world,” Mather said in the video.
The website that sells the clothes also encourages people to donate clothes to charities that need clothes.
A video on CatherinMather.com shows a man in a white shirt and blue jeans making clothes out of scrap material from a plastic bag.
“I just made some clothes from the scrap that I collected from a washing machine and I can sell them on the marketplace,” Maim said.
She said she had been making clothes for a couple of years and she would sell them if she had enough money to do so.
“The first one I made sold out.
The second one sold out so I started making a third one,” Mawn said.
The scrap material is also used to make bags, clothes and other clothing.
“We do this for all of the kids’ clothes we sell, but it also goes to charity for charities,” she said.
CatherinaMather, who lives in Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city, is the founder of Catherins Clothing, a clothing company based in New York City.
The brand sells about 3,000 pairs of jeans and other clothes annually.
