‘America’s Got Talent’ winner Gene Simmons dies at 79
Gene Simmons died on Thursday at 79.
He was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and had been in a nursing home since.
He had been working at the Playboy mansion in New York City.
In his final interview, Simmons said he felt blessed to have had a good career.
“My life is complete,” he said.
“I can say with complete confidence that I never had any disease.
I have never had a stroke.
I don’t have cancer.
Simmons also said that while he wasn’t 100 percent, he still believed he was a man of honor and integrity.
“I have never been a victim,” he told the New York Post.
“If I’m wrong, I’m just going to admit it.”
Sampson is survived by his wife, Jane, two sons, Tom and David, and two daughters, Stephanie and Laura.
